Wings of Heros
This is the Tri-engined lockheed that brings most of out heros home so they can be put to rest , and also our surviving heros , they are a regular sight over scunthorpe and will go well with my route , poly count is high , that of a shunter , but it will only be used once in a game for about 30 seconds , so i dont see how this would matter
got an awacs and hercules in the making

Looks a very good Blender model indeed mate. Just to help, the black triangle, is that a reversed face normal? if so just select it in "face edit mode" and flip normals? ( keys W,Zero or select "Mesh" menu - normals - flip)... If its your cursor, no worries, I'll just hide in a corner, dribble and keep very quite...Lol

Re: Wings of Heros
im not to sure what it is to be honest , but with your help im sure i can fix it , after i have managed to figure out how to texture it and uwrap it would you be able to help with a few blank areas in the tutorials , they may be simple things to sort out in the end bt as you know what your doing you seam to be the guy to ask ,
first is the textures , once there on the model hw do i import them into railworks ?
i have blender 2.49 and the paython that people have said works best with it ( i forget the version )

Blender will work without Python but some plugins may not work and the extra flexibility is well worth having Python loaded. You should have the old Rail Simulator Dev Docs. The docs explain the most important things such as your mesh naming and texture namings. This is also what the basic tutorials show, as well as how to use the blueprint editor. Now most info here:
